After thousands of happy customers and plenty of busy mailmen, we’ve improved the way our products are boxed and sent. But no worries, they’ll still be beloved individual packages created with care and perfect for presentation to your groomsmen, employees, and loved ones.
When you open up your Knotty Tie package (after, we assume, a brief period of rejoicing over its arrival), here is what you'll find:
A. Your custom ties, bow ties, or scarves designed by you and your Knotty Tie designer, freshly printed onto our durable poly twill fabric (or poly chiffon and poly crepe de chine for scarves) and hand-sewn to perfection... or as close as anything handmade can be.
B. A custom message on your tie's tag to remind the wearer where the tie came from and why it’s meaningful. Customized woven tags are now only available for large orders.
C. Your tie insert, which carefully holds your tie or bow tie in place until it’s the right time. Reuse the insert as an easy way to store your tie and avoid creases.
D. A newly designed Knotty Tie box that’s more ready than ever for gifting and presentation. All our boxes and inserts are made of 100% recycled and biodegradable kraft paper that can be recycled once more when no longer in use. Read more about our packaging and materials.
All I'm saying is: If I were a tie, I'd want this tie (or bow tie's) life.
All of our lightweight scarves come neatly folded in new thin boxes (the same as our bow ties) with a wide band across the middle to hold them in place. Pocket squares are typically placed in the same box and insert as your tie or bow tie. So be sure to look inside first!
Our pre-tied youth ties and bow ties will be delivered with the velcro strap connected. Here's how they look undone:
When packing up your order, we will tag specialty items such as differently shaped scarves, extra long ties, or specific names on custom tags so that you don't have to guess. Look for special tags for neckties only on our tall boxes, and tags for bow ties, pocket squares, or scarves on our small boxes.
