How We Turn Waste Into Products

From recycled fabrics to upcycled materials and sustainable packaging, every step of our process is designed with the planet in mind. We carefully choose materials that reduce waste and give new life to items that might otherwise end up in landfills. Here’s how we’re transforming what others might throw away into high-quality products you’ll love, all while helping to create a cleaner, greener future you can feel good about supporting.

Recycled Fabrics Revolutionize Fashion

It may shock you, but only about 9% of plastic is recycled globally. That means most of the water bottles, takeout containers, and other packaging we use end up in landfills or polluting our environment. Rather than contributing to this growing problem, we choose to be part of the solution.

Turning Plastic Waste Into Textiles

The bulk of our products including neckties, bow ties, pocket squares, suspenders, scarves, and insulated neck gaiters are made from fabrics created using post-consumer recycled plastics. Through advanced recycling techniques, these plastics are cleaned, broken down into fibers, and woven or knit into versatile textiles that are ready for printing your customizable designs.

Why it matters:

By choosing recycled fabrics, we reduce the need for virgin materials, lower energy consumption, and help divert waste from landfills.

Did you know?

98% of our products in 2024 were crafted using recycled textiles. That means every piece you purchase plays a part in reducing waste and protecting the environment.

Precision Printing With Dye Sublimation

Another way we minimize waste is through dye sublimation textile printing, a process that vaporizes ink directly into the fabric. Unlike traditional dyeing methods used on textiles like silk, which generate wastewater that can pollute rivers, sublimation is virtually waste-free. It’s eco-friendly and ensures vibrant, long-lasting colors for every custom product.

Up-cycled Pocket Squares

When it comes to keeping our manufacturing process sustainable, we believe that nothing should go to waste, not even fabric scraps. That’s why we offer up-cycled pocket squares. Although we always strive for minimal fabric waste, these pocket squares are made using any leftover cuts of unprinted fabric from our manufacturing process, which would have otherwise been discarded.

Each pocket square is a classic solid white color on both sides and accented by colored thread edging available in up to 28 different hues. It’s the ultimate combination of eco-consciousness and high style.

Less Packaging, More Sustainability

Packaging often gets overlooked, but it’s a critical part of sustainable manufacturing. We’ve made it our mission to provide environmentally friendly options that prioritize both functionality and the planet.

Custom scarf order with minimal packaging

Minimal Packaging For Maximum Impact

For customers who value efficiency and environmental friendliness, we offer a minimal packaging option. Items are protected using 100% recycled, compostable honeycomb paper mailers or 100% clear plastic bags inside of durable cardboard boxes for larger orders. This approach reduces shipping volume and emissions, while ensuring your products arrive safely.

Whether you’re choosing minimal or individual packaging, both options are designed with sustainability in mind.
