Five Points was once known as the "Harlem of the West" because of its rich culture in Jazz music. Decades ago, famous Jazz musicians such Bille Holiday, Duke Ellington, Miles Davis, Nat King Cole, and many others performed in bars and clubs throughout Five Points. This neighborhood has always been culturally diverse and the jazz music scene is still alive and well. This bow tie design serves to highlight this history of Jazz music, but also the diversity that is still so much a part of this neighborhood today.
